Gareth Gregory, MBBS, PhD, FRACP, FRCPA, Fiona Stanley Hospital & Monash University, Perth, Australia, discusses emerging second-line treatments for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), including bispecific antibodies, autologous and allogeneic CAR T-cell therapies, and small molecule inhibitors. Based on early data from the Phase III STARGLO trial (NCT04408638), Dr Gregory anticipates that bispecifics will be practice-changing in the second-line and later settings. However, he notes that selecting the optimal therapy for each patient remains a key challenge.
