In this video, I walk the iconic Placencia Sidewalk with my son and brother-in-law, from De Tatch Café to the Placencia Sign, before heading to the beach and walking south to Cozy Corner. What starts as a peaceful stroll turns into a raw look at a growing crisis. The sargassum is piling up. The beach is disappearing. Will the silence continue, or will the Central Government (Ministry of Tourism/BTB) intervene to assist?
