Bobby Audley is a leadership speaker and team building facilitator who challenges young students and young professionals to have 50 cups of coffee in 2016. As an entrepreneur in his late twenties, he says he owes much of his early success to "grabbing coffee" with his network. He came to learn that “May we grab a cup of coffee?” is not only less threatening than “May I pick your brain” BUT it is more welcomed and usually enjoyed by all. By simply grabbing coffee and connecting he found his first three “real jobs," he found the mentor who helped him quit his full-time job and start his first successful business, and he has been invited to plan events with an Oxford educated politician, met a billionaire, and has shared countless conversations with fascinating people. Bobby Audley has worked with thousands of students and professionals across the country as a speaker, teambuilding facilitator, and trainer. Bobby began his career working in higher education as an Orientation and Leadership Specialist, and spent 3 years working for Project Ascent. In January 2016 Bobby gave his first TEDx talk titled, “Why You Shouldn’t Do Your Best.” He is active in his local business community serving as the coordinator of a non-profit Entrepreneur Center, and he is an active member of his alma mater’s Alumni Board. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
