Watch: Chit Fund Victims On The Street Biswabrata Goswami Hummingbird News KRISHNAGAR, 3 FEB: Activists of All Bengal Chit Fund Sufferers Welfare Association today put up a road block at Municipality More in Krishnagar demanding immediate refund of their invested money to the chit fund companies. According to the group, more than 300 victims of the Saradha chit fund scam case have committed suicide due to their financial distress. The victims have appealed the Centre to confiscate the assets of the chit fund companies, auction them and return the money. Ashok Kumar Biswas, a state committee member of the association said the Prime Minister and the Home Minister had assured them during the last parliamentary polls that they would refund money within 120 days if they come in power. But, no steps have been taken yet.
