This video was filmed 06th February 2021. We wanted to document as much as possible, but due to the fog on the day, this made it very difficult. Cannock Colliery No.8 was closed on the 26th January 1962, some parts remain, however a lot has been lost to time. The Cannock area has changed a lot, and we hope to keep the history of the area alive, there is limited information on the internet, and were hoping to document as much as possible, however this comes with its complications. Whilst we believe most of this information to be true, it is possible that some of the information may be incorrect.
