Sketchbook Tour - 2016 gouache Moleskine sketchbook

Complete tour of this 2016 gouache Moleskine sketchbook. This is from when I was trying to carry on with daily drawing and painting, and focusing more on drawing from life. It is interesting looking back and seeing how much I have changed. On the other hand, I know if I want to return to this style I feel comfortable enough now with gouache that I think this technique should come back to me. I still similarly use gouache paint in my figurative work and in landscapes. At the end of the video, I show a sketchbook page from yesterday and discuss a bit more about trying to make my own watercolour paper blocks. Please note I forgot to mention weighing down the pad once you have applied glue (I used heavy books ) or you can also use clamps. Thanks for watching and subscribing, Sonia
