These matches were played on: 10/20/25 ///// DECK DESCRIPTION ///// Black Tezzeret Storm is back — and this version cleans up the old Karn, the Great Creator and Grim Monolith package for a smoother, faster combo plan. The deck still revolves around Beseech the Mirror and Echo of Eons, using fast mana from Dark Ritual, Lotus Petal, Chrome Mox, and Mox Opal to build storm and reload. What’s new here are the supporting pieces that improve consistency and resilience. Runehorn Hellkite gives a built-in answer to counterspells through Entomb, while Song of Creation creates a line that wins when the graveyard is shut off. Tezzeret, Cruel Captain continues to be the centerpiece — tutoring Lion’s Eye Diamond or utility artifacts like Candy Trail and Haywire Mite while generating mana and pressure. Mastermind’s Acquisition replaces Death Wish to access both main deck and sideboard cards, letting you chain Echo of Eons into flexible win lines like The One Ring or Empty the Warrens. The result is a cleaner, more adaptable Storm deck that still ends games with Tendrils of Agony — but now has the tools to fight through almost anything.
