Finnair A321 - Scenic Evening Takeoff from Zurich to Helsinki (16K SUBSCRIBERS, THANK YOU!)

ZRH-HEL: Our first trip to Finland and first Finnair A321 but not my first time to the Helsinki Airport (a layover last year) or on Finnair (previously an A350 and ERJ-190). This was an evening flight that landed in Helsinki after 23:00, but it never got dark! The summer evenings feel very different to what we're used to in Zurich, where there is about 7 hours of darkness. We were in Finland for 9 days but because it never got dark, you could say it was only one day. ;) The flight was a smooth and very scenic. Finnair legroom is acceptable and the entertainment was only via overhead screens, pretty standard for European carriers. One unique aspect to this Finnair flight was the fact that it had an on board camera. I have a short clip in this video and a few more in the landing video to follow. As we headed north east towards Finland, we flew over the several mountain ranges in the Alps. The views were absolutely stunning, starting at 07:40. The evening sun made for great highlights and shadows, it was a beautiful night to fly. At the end of the video, we crossed paths with what appears to be a BA flight; hard to tell though.
