Maha Guru Aspiration Prayer of Khandro Yeshe Tsogyal | Online | September 16, 2021 Before Guru Rinpoche departed from Tibet for the Copper-Colored Mountain, Yeshe Tsogyal made this Maha Guru aspiration as her final prayer to her Guru and concealed it as a treasure teaching. It was later discovered by Pema Lingpa, the Bhutanese tertön who played a crucial role in the development of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche praised this prayer in his introduction, saying, “This prayer consists of basically everything, from A to Z of the Buddha Dharma.” Rinpoche provides a nearly word-by-word explanation of this incredibly profound and vast prayer.
