Intro to Heraldry: Part II - Tinctures, charges, and the blazon

Part 2 of an introductory series to heraldry. In this video, we break down arms into their constituent parts. We list the most common tinctures, charges, ordinaries, and divisions, and then we go on to learn about blazonry by making a few of our own arms. The following video will discuss the achievement as a whole beyond just the shield. Crests, mantling, helmets, supporters, and all those extra frills will be covered in the next video.
