Basics of Crystal Plasticity and multi-phase material modeling with DAMASK

This is a detailed lecture on the what, why, and how of material modeling using Crystal Plasticity. It also explains the basics of modeling multi-phase materials with DAMASK. I have discussed several explanations from previous work on how such modeling can be used to understand the local deformation and damage behavior of multiphase materials. In the end, I have discussed some of the challenges. The Q/A session, in the end, is a bonus for getting around some of the major confusions.
