And along the way, finally meets her. But soon he goes on a boat ride where he meets Ariel. They begin to form a connection, and Aladdin, who's now dating Jasmine, tries to remind himself he loves Jasmine. Under the sea, Ariel is singing about her love for Aladdin and enjoying her statue of Aladdin flounder gave her when triton comes in and destroys it, driving her to exchange her voice for legs. She goes on land and once again meets Aladdin, who knows its her, and they begin to form an even stronger bond. Then, they kiss. This leads Aladdin to basically have a breakdown, trying to figure out who he actually cares for. He realizes that Ariel has only had good times with him, and that Jasmine has been nothing but arguing with him.
