Coventry 'The Blitz' series 1990

In 1990, while working for Hereward Television (linked to Hereward College) and Coventry Cable Television, I was involved in the production of a series of 7 short programmes about the Coventry Blitz which focussed, in the main, in talking to local people and local experts about their experiences during the Blitz and their knowledge of what took place. The 7 programmes are entitled 'The Blitz' and then in the case of programmes 2 - 7 respectfully they were given the following sub-titles which give and indication of their content. The numbers in brackets are their start times in hours, minutes and seconds should you wish to move to any specific programme. 1. 'The Blitz' 2. 'Community Life' (00.14.06) 3. Entertainment 'The Show Must Go On' (00.27.02) 4. 'Why Coventry?' (00.46.17) 5. 'Community Plays' (01.04.54) 6. 'Pearce and Reconciliation (01.18.25) 7. 'When You're Smiling' (01.32.23) The recording quality is not HD and the production budget was that of local television and not that of the BBC, nevertheless, I hope you enjoy watching and maybe even see people you know.
