The original weatherstrip was flat and needed some help so I decided this would be the easiest and most cost-effective method. I used poly foam rope to simply fill the open cavity of the weatherstrip. It worked wonderfully well. Now I won't have rattling doors, air leaks, water leaks and I've saved time and money to boot!
