📍Selinog Island, Dapitan, Zamboanga del Norte 🏝️ Dapitan CIty and Dipolog City are twin cities in the Region 9. They boast beautiful sceneries and raw islands for tourists to explore. In this video, we take you with us as we #endorselocal tourism with the pursuit of showing how beautiful one of the islands in Mindanao is and to support jobs by the locals who depend on tourism for sustenance. If you are locals in the area, below is the guide to help you enjoy what your community has to offer. ✅Take-off and drop-off point at Rizal Shrine, Dapitan.🛥️ ✅1 and a half hour boat ride from Dapitan to the island with a chance to spot dolphins. 🐬 ✅Approximately 375-600 per person back and forth (depending on # of heads, boat to use) ✅P500(daytour)750(overnight)cottage fee. ✅Bring tents for an overnight stay or rent one for only P200. 🏕️ ✅Must bring: ☑️Powerbanks⚡-Electricity only runs from 6-10pm. ☑️Audio Speakers🔈- for added good vibes. ☑️Volleyball/Frisbee🏐- for group sports. ☑️Camera w/ tripod, drone🤳- for best couple/group shots. ✅Locals offer their personal restrooms for a minimal fee. 20pesos/gallon of water for bathing/banlaw. 🚿 ✅Buy fresh seafood and drinks from local vendors.🍢 ✅BE GENEROUS with your tips.💰 Tourism has been badly hit by the pandemic. These people are in desperate need to survive. As we ease into the new normal, may we help them get back on their feet.
