#kapla #keva #building Words cannot express how proud I am of this accomplishment, not just the subscriber milestone, but for building not one but two enormous constructions with KAPLA and KEVA planks. At 22000 planks, this stands as my biggest project to date. This video took well over 200 hours to make, over a span of 3 months. It was also my hardest solo project, and there were times I felt like abandoning it altogether. But to say it was worth it in the end is an understatement. This video probably won’t get a lot of views and comments, especially since it’s been so long since my last upload, but I’d like to highlight some of the interesting/challenging/exciting parts of this project: Most of the structures shown in this video are mini-versions of previous projects since my 100-sub special. This is a tradition that I intend to keep, so my 10k-sub special will feature projects from after today until the day I reach 10k subs. The second part of this video was actually supposed to be one big build, encompassing both floors of my house. Due to time constraints I was forced to cut it short. While that was kinda disappointing, I shrugged it off until I knocked a domino at the very end. Worst possible timing—this was by far the most upsetting fail on this channel, and I lost most of my motivation to build again for over 2 months. This was my hardest video to edit, with over 40 gigabytes of 4k timelapse footage. These files wreaked havoc on my computer and phone, and my editing software barely ran. I had to export dozens of times to finally see a clean shot, and I couldn’t get the final video to export in 4k. So 2.7k (1440p) will have to do. Several of the colors used were provided by KEVA, and were used extensively for the ocean and Minecraft section of part ones. Thank you so much KEVA! Due to real life and the associated lack of consistent uploads, my channel has grown very slowly. I’m surprised I even got to 1000 subs in the first place, but here we are! And while it has been awhile since the actual milestone, it’s never too late for a massive build. I’ve been very nostalgic lately for the early days of the channel, so I included several old photos at the end of this video. As for my future projects, I’ll be in Maryland next week for the Around the World in 80 days domino project, where I’ll be building the Konark Sun Temple with planks.
