Kite, Surf and A Day of Thanks captures a simple Thanksgiving afternoon on the beach — wind carving across the water, surfers lifted by their kites, and a few gentle holiday touches woven into the scene. The music comes from one of my earlier free-improvised piano pieces, a piece shaped by motion, breath, and shifting color.
