An Overview of California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)

With the beginning of the year 2023, the California Privacy Rights Act went into effect. This is a significant landmark of any privacy law in the US setting the bar high in the privacy regulations for all the other states to follow. We will review what the new act entails and how is it different from its predecessor California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We will also briefly review some other regulations for Security and Privacy in the US and around the globe. About the Speaker Dhruv Pandya is an Information Security Professional with an expertise in Information Security Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, Incident Management and Identity and Access Management. He currently serves as the Director of Information Security at Wistia.
