Meeting Bret Iwan, the voice of Mickey Mouse

INTENDED FOR GENERAL AUDIENCES Yep, you read the title correctly. I've met a lot of famous people this year but for the first time ever, I get to meet someone who's been the voice of a legendary childhood and entertainment icon! As y'all probably know (or should know), I've been a huge Mickey Mouse fan for pretty much most of my life and I've made that very obvious on my channel and in the many videos I've posted about Mickey, hence this playlist:    • Mickey Mouse   But today, I got to have an experience unlike any other that really has made my day in so many ways. On Saturday, July 31st, I actually met the one and only Bret Iwan: the official and current voice of Mickey Mouse. And sure enough, it was a very pleasant and magical experience that was worth all the money I spent. Bret Iwan has been voicing the famed rodent since 2009, after the late Wayne Allwine (whom I also grew up with as the voice of Mickey Mouse). Mickey has been an absolute source of joy, optimism, wholesomeness, and positivity and Bret has captured it greatly in his voice (especially in recent years with his performance as Mickey in "Mixed-Up Adventures"). I think Bret has done a very fantastic job being Mickey in all the shows, shorts, theme park meet-and-greets, and special events and I enjoy hearing his voice as Mickey Mouse. There is no denying that Mickey Mouse has been a childhood legend and a huge part of my life. Without Mickey Mouse, there wouldn't be any Baby Lamb Creations. So I have Walt to thank, as well as those who've contributed to his legacy, to give life to such a lively character. As always, huge thanks to the very kind people at GalaxyCon Live for making such an illustrious event possible. Most of all, thank you to Bret Iwan for entertaining the current generation of children, and even grown-ups or young adults, as the voice of one of the world's most beloved and iconic animated characters ever known.
