http://www.ouostore.com/ We often get asked, if my truck is stock, why do I need traction bars? I thought only trucks with performance modificatiuons need traction bars. This video is showing how excessive the axle wrap is on a completely stock Super Duty and the difference that OUO traction bars make. All trucks will experience axle wrap in some degree. Due to the higher hp and torque numbers these newer trucks make in totally stock form, paired with the softer springs to keep a smooth ride, this leads to excessive axle wrap right out of the box. In this video is a completely stock 2017 Super Duty Powerstroke. We are not in an absolute torture test. This is just normal driving. OUO traction bar systems do a very efficient job of correctly controlling the axle wrap, which leads to smoother shifts, smoother ride quality, with more planted handling characteristics and power delivery. The rear axle needs to be able to adsorb torque spikes yet still be able to move freely. The rear axle on these trucks just needs to be stabilized so torque spikes from acceleration or braking are not able move the drive shaft out of its functional angles zone.
