Pitch-pot, face changing, jianzi: Athletes immerse in Chengdu's cultural delights at Universiade

Young athletes from around the world, participating in the 31st FISU World University Games in Chengdu, took some time to explore the city. Chengdu, known as one of the most livable cities in China, captivated the athletes with its attractions. The newly renovated Wangjianglou Park, famous for its historical buildings and rare bamboo varieties, fascinated many. The Chengdu Museum showcased historical exhibits, including paintings and calligraphy, bringing the old charm to life. Kuanzhai Alley welcomed visitors with local tasty foods, and the interactive experience center at the Chengdu Universiade Village offered cultural activities. The athletes expressed their interest in Chinese culture and their eagerness to learn more about the city.
