A Tribute to Ali Mufuruki

Ali Mufuruki was a businessman and a Pan-Africanist who was deeply committed to the socio-economic development of the African continent. Ali was the Chairman and CEO of Infotech Investment Group Limited, based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Infotech Investment Group has interests in IT and telecoms services, retail and real estate in the East Africa region. He was a Founding Trustee of the Mandela Institute for Development Studies (MINDS). MINDS and like-minded partners and friends of Ali will be holding an online event to celebrate Ali’s life and his contribution to the development of the African continent. The event will be used to call for concerted effort in finding African solutions rooted in African heritage to address the challenges confronting our continent.
