Calibration of Large Masses in RADWAG Measuring Laboratory

Measuring Laboratory is one of four organisational units of RADWAG Metrology, Research and Certification Centre. The Laboratory includes a workroom for calibration of large mass. What does the calibration procedure involve? Watch a short video explaining the calibration procedure of large masses. Calibration is a set of operations, the aim of which is to check the relation between indications of measured value, obtained using a measuring device or system (or values represented by either a mass standard or reference material) and respective values of physical quantities represented by a mass standard of the measuring unit. Features determined by calibration are measurement error, measurement uncertainty and measuring traceability.
