Sky News Washington Correspondent Annelise Nielsen says in Kenosha, Wisconsin, there's been a "strong police presence" in anticipation of potential rioting over Kyle Rittenhouse's acquittal. "A lot of people left town in anticipation of what could've been riots, they're still really scarred by what happened last year," Ms Nielsen told Sky News host Rowan Dean. She said around 500 National Guard troops have been on standby in case of potential looting. "There's been a strong police presence, but not around the courthouse, and so those protesters have had their say and then after the acquittal they've moved on, mostly," Ms Nielsen said. "What we do know is that this is changing the national discussion around what a person can do to make themselves feel safe in public because they're feeling a lot less safe than they were a year ago, or well before that too."
