As with most Metallica songs, the tuning will be standard tuning. In the first video lesson, I will show you how to play all of the riffs and guitar harmony parts. There is ton to learn here. Metallica has come up with a slew of really fun and challenging riffs that incorporate thrash metal, groove metal, power metal and punk rock in a seamless onslaught of riffs and harmony guitar parts. I will go through each riff in the order that it appears in the song. To make it a bit easier to know where I am at in the song, I will also give you the minute and second mark that each new riff appears. Along the way, there are quite a few guitar harmony lines along with some short leads by Kirk Hammett. I will show you how to play all the guitar harmony parts just in case you have another guitarist to jam with and in addition, any lead work done by Hammett. In then second video lesson, I will show you how to play Kirk Hammett's guitar solo note-for-note. As is common in Kirk Hammett's lead guitar work, this solo is drenched in wah tones with lots a chaotic guitar licks thrown in there. There are a couple of parts of the solo that are just meant by Hammett to be noise. Because of that, you will have to wing it a bit just like Hammett does. But for the most part, he is playing very distinctive guitar licks that are pretty easy to pick up and breakdown phrase-by-phrase. I hope you guys enjoy learning this monster of a guitar workout from Metallica! #mothintoflameguitarlesson #metallica #guitarcovers Carl...
