I compared two rgb laser projectors again. Valerion Vision Master pro 2 and Viewsonic LX700 4K RGB LASER. Valerion has single 0.47" dmd dlp chip and a lot of high tech features. Viewsonic on the other hand has single 0.65" dmd dlp chip not a lot of tech features also has a cheaper price. Both projectors have RGB laser light source. I used Sony 7r5 in SLOG 3 HLG. ISO level is at 1250 and shutter speed at 1/30 and aperture is at 2.8. Both images are reflected on RAL 7040 grey code painted wall. "I’ve seen a few comments saying I’m wrong about the black levels in previous comparisons. I totally get where that reaction comes from — the projector with the brighter image, newer tech, and higher price tag should be better in every way, right? But here’s the thing — our eyes aren’t always objective, especially when expectations get in the way. This is something psychologists have studied for decades. It’s called belief bias and the halo effect — we tend to see what we expect to see, especially when it comes from a popular brand or a hyped product. What I’m showing you isn’t based on specs, brand names, or marketing. It’s based on the actual image quality — the contrast, the black levels, what the camera captures on the wall in identical conditions. I invite you to pause the video, look closely at the shadows, the dark scenes, the detail in low light. Don’t let the brand or the feature list guide your judgment — just let your eyes compare. It might surprise you. Sometimes the best performance doesn’t come from the flashiest product — it comes from the one that’s focused purely on the fundamentals. Thanks for watching, and I’m always open to respectful discussion — especially if it’s based on the actual footage."
