I thought this would be an interesting pedal to try with the Hohner Pianet T. This pedal is based on the original Peterson preamp that came with suitcase model Fender Rhodes pianos. This preamp has a built in stereo vibrato (actually tremolo) and this effect is often associated with the fender Rhodes sound. Stage model pianos did not feature this effect or built in EQ so were much more limited. This lead to the Peterson preamp being desirable and many venders have created after market preamps for these pianos. These after market preamps usually require the preamp to be installed on to the name rail and that limits them to fender Rhodes pianos. The JSI Synth preamp is built into a guitar pedal enclosure so this allows it to be used for a whole range of instruments. More details can be found here on the unit: https://www.jsisynth.com/peterson.html @JSIsynth I think it works really well for this Pianet and helps give the user some important controls and effects that are key for electric pianos. I am creating a collection of videos showing how a range of effects pedals to see how they work with the Hohner Pianet T electric piano. Please let me know what you think, and if you have any pedals in mind that would be interesting to try with this piano. If you any or these video of series useful please help the channel by sharing them with anyone/ anywhere you think these could be useful. - Thank you!
