There is a say in our tap slang that states "Rhythm is my business", in reference to show business. As a non mainstream tap dance artist, my interest is to use this incredible art form to create new forms and axis of collaboration with communities I would not get to meet if not for being an artist. I called this clip RHYTHM IS MY WITNESS as a reminder that rhythm is before any commodification of its practices by the western world, a mean of exchange and comminucation rooted in survival need and community celebration. I dedicate this clip to the wonderful group of children who welcomed me and my daughter Zuly, 9 years old and who has down syndrome, in their rom camp near Kezmarok.
