Characters belong to Vivziepop/Spindlehorse. ———————————— Originally I was gonna make a joke about how Scylla was my new Roo headcanon voice when the thunder saga dropped, but it took me so long to finish this that an ENTIRE OTHER SAGA DROPPED while I was in the trenches. Idk if it’s good, if it’s bad, or if it’s totally average, it’s DONE and I can put it behind me forever!! Yay!! Honestly I think this was one of the more technically challenging ones I’ve done, mostly because there are so many characters to block out and Roo herself IS the set, and I’m not used to camerawork in such an action-heavy sequence like this one. Definitely pushed myself to new heights with this though; I even learned key-framing!! That opens up so many possibilities for future stuff LOL Also one more note!! This animatic is a THEORY based on a rewrite project I’ve started on AO3. It’s half what I predict an entrance for Roo would look like, and half my planning for said scene once I get to it in the fanfic. I also just wanted an excuse to off some of these characters because I find chopping down the antagonists of a previous arc establishes the threat of the new one pretty effectively lol.
