The Battle of Al Kut

The Battle of Al Kut, Iraq took place in the predawn hours of April 9, 2004, when units from 3d Squadron, 2d Armored Cavalry Regiment and 2nd Battalion, 37th Armor advanced across the Tigris River in order to retake the CPA (Coalition Provisional Authority) compound and the Iraqi Police Headquarters that were seized by members of the Mahdi Militia. This compilation of three videos, although more audio than video, as far as I know, represent the only footage taken on the ground during the battle.
