As some of you may know, I started David’s Been Here way back in 2008, right after I graduated from college. My journey since then has taken many twists and turns. There have been tons of highs, a lot of lows, and a ton of moments where had to recalibrate, refocus, and bounce back after tough times. 👕 DAVID’S BEEN HERE MERCH: https://teespring.com/stores/davids-b... This milestone is all thanks to you! Only 23,000 channels have reached this coveted milestone, so that makes it all the more special! Some people reach this milestone quickly. For other creators like me, it takes over a decade. But we’re here, and it’s all because of you, so thank you so much! I want to quickly update you guys on some of my current plans and projects, and ask you guys for your input on some things. First up, I’m expanding my office! I’ll soon be working out of a much bigger space, which will help me as the David’s Been Here team expands. I’ll be hiring a production manager who will work out of my office. They’ll take care of the postproduction, including the day-to-day scheduling of videos, making sure all content is uploaded and backed up, divvy out tasks to my team, manage my social media, and more. If you live in Miami and are right for this job, please email my assistant, Brandon. I have exciting travel plans coming up! The next country I’m traveling to is Iran, and Guyana, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Nigeria are just some of the countries I want to visit next. I’ve visited most of Europe and Central America, but there’s a lot of the world I still haven’t seen. I’m missing a lot of South America, most of Africa, and a lot of central and southeast Asia. For the rest of 2022, I want to focus on countries I’ve never visited. If you live in any of those countries and work for a tourism board or a tour company there, please hit me up! I also want to let you guys know about my website. I have over 2,000 written travel guides about destinations I’ve visited on the site, from India to Ghana to Japan to Spain. In the coming weeks, I’ll be revamping my website to make it more attractive and easier to navigate so you guys can easily find whatever you’re looking for. By stepping back and allowing a production manager handle the day-to-day tasks, I can focus more on bettering myself as a speaker and content creator. I have several projects I’m working on—including a hot sauce, a restaurant, and a pani puri stand—and this will allow me to focus more on those. I also want to get better at speaking, talking about food, and learning new languages. This will also allow me to produce more content!
