Low Tatras: From Čertovica to Donovaly in 2 days | Trail preview

In today's video, I would like to show you our two-day hike in the Low Tatras, covering the route from Čertovica to Donovaly. We left our car in Donovaly and took two buses (via Banská Bystrica) to reach the starting point of the hike – Čertovica. We arrived shortly after lunch and set off along the Cesta hrdiniv SNP (red sign), which we followed all the way to Donovaly. Due to the complexity of the transfers, we walked 15.5 km on the first day, with an elevation gain of approximately 1,200 meters. Along the way, we stopped at Ďumbier and ended up at the chalet below Chopok. The next day, we set off at dawn, as we had a pleasant 37.3 km route and with 1,150 meters of elevation gain ahead of us. Along the way, you can stop at the Útulňa Ďurková chalet, which we took advantage of. Due to the distance, we arrived in Donovaly later in the day. I hope, you will enjoy the video.
