On this video see how the Analogues 3D handles a long F-Zero X custom track with draw distance and details increase. First : single player with force real hardware settings, then using unleashed mode. Then same but in four players mode (as you'll see only two players active). Finally, enjoy the game with may be the slowest 4 players mode on the N64. Even the Dreamcast can't handle that one. Well in fact it should and can't be slower imo. The first part is in real hardware settings then in Unleashed mode in four, then three and two player mode. The result, in four players unleashed, the Analogue 3D improves a lot and came close to the three players mode witch is close to the two players mode itself. I like Hydro Thunder anyway. Oh, by the way, the capture card is the same I used almost 20 years ago. I used a cheap HDMI to scart adapter that makes 480i composite video that somewhat turns to 480i s-video with my DVD recorder output and add some lag. The analogue settings allows to get a good old 4/3 image to play on a crt. Also 480i games that struggles with combing artefact on modern flat screens are fine on crt using that kind of adapter with 480i or an extron using 240p downscale settings.
