Once the beast has been captured, the plastic housing is very simple to clean out with dish soap and water bath, air dried and stored for the next intruder. Baiting is simple enough. Just smear a bit in the bait housing and slip it into the channel. It is suggested by the manufacturer to use something simple like peanut butter. I had the fastest results with a keebler peanut fudge cookie quarter with some strawberry jam juice on the edge. I captured two inside and another three outside in a matter of a couple of hours. I am very happy to have them away. Update: It was late by the time I had this video compiled and ready to upload. In the meantime I had set the trap back down and started turning the segments into a video, and when I went in to clean the trap just now, and to my total surprise there is yet another mouse in it. Update2: On the theory of where there was one there are many, I re-armed the trap and just captured a third mouse. After evicting that mouse I put the trap back in action. Day 4, three mice. Oh my god, I had no clue the infestation was that thick. Max the cat killed two that I saw. Update3: This is the gift that keeps giving. I found another mouse in the trap, rearmed it and barely walked away when it captured another. That is a half a dozen so far. Averaged to 1.25 per day.
