Project “UResolve” is an awareness program aiming at the general public. Where procedure and formalities may be more expensive and time consuming, the need of promoting sustainable peace in society calls for focusing on alternative methods of dispute resolution. Mediation is a process through which people could resolve their disputes most confidentially, economically and efficiently via an impartial third party appointed by the specific mediators representing each disputed party. It involves trained skills of negotiation and communication which brings the disputants to an amicable settlement through the removal of the real cause of grievances with their consent. Thus while helping people in the most required form, Mediation boards ensure the sustenance of a peaceful society by preventing the recurrence of unsettled disputes with the cooperation of all parties involved.
