CLOOS - QIROX Robot system for waste container welding

Highest quality for a clean environment On an area of almost 900 m², four robots from Cloos company weld waste containers of various sizes and shapes. The welding times per component range from 2.5 to almost 6 hours. The five work stations are connected by a conveying system. The containers with a weight of up to 3 tons can be manoeuvred through this system -- located on vehicles -- from one station to the next. Faun currently uses four of the five work stations for the production. At station 5, employees of the company generate programmes of new workpiece variants. In this way, the capacity utilisation of the overall robot system can be increased further.
