Apologies about the when volume suddenly changes. These are different clips from different up loaders that have been edited together so the volume does vary throughout. Sorry First all I will thank cray1875 and 23daves from whom I have stolen all these clips. Some of us have repeatedly talked about when in the chart show specialist charts they would use random clips (or stock footage as it's now been dubbed) for songs without proper videos. They have developed something of a cult status and someone suggested that somebody should make a video containing all the different ones they used. Well even before it had been said I had thought about doing it but figured the work involved couldn't be bothered but yesterday whilst viewing one of the charts again suddenly decided damn man I'm going to do it :) This is just a compilation of them and obviously not every one ever (that really would take weeks & weeks to compile) and it's only the 'random stock footage' ones here NOT any of the still photos also often used. Many of them (such as the crash crushing, lava lamps and the onscreen game of pong) were used many many times and I've only put in 1 or 2 examples in this clip, you are only allowed to upload a maximum of 10 minutes of footage and couldn't fit everything in anyway. So here it is a large compilation of chart show 'homebrew video clips' all put together in one video for everyone to enjoy. It's only ones used from November 1995 to August 1998 too and yes I know they did start to use them before this but it was only really from November 1995 onwards when they really became promenade. They are nearly all indie or dance chart clips as it was virtually non-existent to see them in the rock chart - can only see 2 cases of it ever from viewing all the clips, the one shown in this clip from Marillion and also once for a third eye blind track (but that was the car crusher one again) Bonus: Not stock footage but the chart show had an obsession with using Pearl Jam's Even Flow video for every other song by them so have edited these 3 classic moments together and stuck it on the end of the clip :) Ps, Watch out for the gimp in the mask LOL
