The Paignton Bike Night crew of volunteers were ready for these high tides! 😅 From dodging waves to parking on the footpath, this evening was full of surprises. Watch as 500+ bikes and their riders (including me on my Yamaha MT-125) battle the elements and head off for the now-legendary milkshake run to Ipplepen. I met up with lots of friends, and people from as far as Crediton came along for the milkshake run. I was initially parked by the shoreline restaurant but by 7pm the waves were coming over and my bike already had a huge 20 metre wide puddle of sea water under it. I quickly moved to the other side and was amazed to see bikes were double parked on the pavement, and even now parking on Paignton Green. I've never this happen at a bike night before. The organisers were absolutely on it, and did an incredible job of making sure we were all safe. Carol was busy taking lots of candid photos on her canon camera and godox v1 flash.
