Japji Sahib English Explanation Katha of 30th Pauri This video focuses on the 30th Pauri of Sri Jap Ji Sahib where Guru Nanak Sahib states "Eka Maaee, Jugat Viaaee, Tin Chele Parvaan". We look at two different meanings of this pauri, ie Guruji is answering the Siddhs about the three guns of Prakirti (part of Samkhya) and also the concept of the Hindu trilogy of gods, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. We talk of the One who is above all these, whose unseen hand guides and controls all beings but amazingly this One cannot by seen by most of us. We also examine the importance of Guru for the Sikhs, i.e., that Guru is that Divine Being whom we submit to, but that Guru can see the One and in fact guides us to worship that True and Eternal One. We sing Vaheguru Simran and kirtan of "Eko Jap Eko Salahe, Ek Simar Eko Man Aahe" by Guru Arjan Patshah in Sukhmani Sahib. The kirtan was done by Veer Ravinderpal Singh and Veer Harinderpal Singh from Southall and Hounslow. -- We also discuss our latest endeavor, Plan BE13. (www.virginmoneygiving.com/charities/everythings13) -------- With Guru's blessings, the SIKHI in English series will be going through the entire Sri Jap Ji Sahib, (the very first Bani in Sri Guru Granth Sahib) and trying understand it in English alongside singing Gurbani kirtan to help explain further. The programme is held every Sunday from 6-7:15pm at Park Avenue Gurdwara, Southall. English katha alongside kirtan and simran by local kirtanees. Please give us your darshan and sangat.
