Borderlands 2 Mission 1 - My First Gun My First Gun is the first story mission in Borderlands 2 given by Claptrap. The mission is performed in Windshear Waste. Objectives Get a gun. Open cabinet Strategy After inviting the Vault Hunters into Claptrap's Place, Claptrap warns them that the local bullymongs are dangerous, especially one he calls Knuckle Dragger. Immediately following this warning, Knuckle Dragger swings in through the open roof, rips out Claptrap's eye, and leaves. Claptrap then asks his new "minion" (meaning you) to find the gun he keeps in a small cabinet. Completion Turn In: Cabinet Notes If the character dies and respawns before reaching Claptrap's Place, the animation of crawling and getting up are skipped. This mission is skipped in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. Despite this, it will appear in the mission log, appearing at the level you started your current UVHM playthrough, ignoring OP levels. (i.e. The max level for it to appear in the log is 80.)
