Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). DOOM REDUX is a very large map/project that in current state is clearly unfinished, if you grab a Computer Map (or type a simple cheat), you might see that there are several areas that are closed to a player. Map has over 700+ monsters spawned over the time (they do spawn during your playthrough gradually, to avoid summoning all monsters since the beginning) what is a great thing to decrease performance spikes. Level has several parts known distuinguishable from maps known all over the classic DOOM, you might recognize the E1M1 Hanger just at the beginning, in the midway of the map you will also find the MAP01 Entryway. Later you will find yourself among places such as Computer Station, huge outside areas with some sort of underground complex where layout of first level of TNT Evilution appears, and this is a turning point of this WAD. Because at the end you will encounter a strange hellish presence inside an UAC mountain complex, that maze of caves, lava and hellish growth closely resembles the E3M2 Slough of Despair, but way more claustrophobic. The WAD in the current state has a one big drawback - it ends in the place when you want to explore more because it clearly shows the merge of Hell and Earth realms, and then suddenly there is a message about an end of demo. Map begins outside but... well, it looks way different than we might imagine - it does not begin on Mars or Phobos, this is an Earth with UAC installation somewhere, but it has been attacked by the demons. The WAD is really complex and might give you a small headache because of how many corridors and doors there are you can find on your way, sometimes you might have to backtrack to the area you previously explored (but there are monsters).
