SUMMARY: The goal of this seminar is to discuss the development of the spiritually-integrated cognitive processing therapy (SI-CPT) model in treating both PTSD and moral injury in military and veteran populations. The speaker will take time to review the relevant and current treatments of PTSD and its limitations in addressing moral injury. Next, we will examine the reasoning behind developing SI-CPT off of the current CPT platform and review the layout of each session. The speaker will discuss the utilization of SI-CPT in a case study. Lastly, the speaker will reflect on the experiences of both the therapist and patient in using this protocol. PRESENTER: Keisha-Gaye N. O’Garo, Psy.D., ABPP.
