Duane Allman's dobro “Little Martha”

The 1930s dobro Duane Allman used to compose and record “Little Martha” along with Dickey Betts and Berry Oakley. The song first appeared as the final studio track on the Allman Brothers Band's fourth album, Eat a Peach, released in 1972. The track was recorded in October 1971, a few weeks before Duane Allman's untimely death in a motorcycle accident. The guitar remains in safe keeping with Dickey Betts. Johnny Stachela is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter.  A charter member of The Allman Betts Band, Stachela performed on its 2019 debut LP, Down to the River, and their 2020 follow-up, Bless Your Heart. He has toured the US and Europe extensively. In 2022, Stachela turned to writing, performing, and production work with Duane Betts for Betts’ first full length solo album. #duaneallman #dickeybetts #allmanbrothersband #littlemartha
