In today's video, I am talking about Seroma. The swelling that we commonly see after breast surgery is called a Seroma. The body reacts to this type of surgery by producing this fluid. This builds up and collects underneath the skin within the area of surgery. If you've had a lumpectomy, the fluid collects around the area of surgery. You can also get a seroma after a mastectomy!
