Unauthorized public screenings are prohibited. 2020 Tribal Environmental Leaders Summit film Tribal Caucus of the Region 10 Tribal Operations Committee Film by Bjørn Olson, Mjølnir Films The film’s focus is the importance of salmon as foundational to Indigenous food security, lifeways, spirituality, community wellness and environmental sustainability. While the film was filmed and highlights Alaska Natives, the message is transferrable to all Tribes in our Region. This is one of two films produced in 2020 to support the mission and purpose of the Region 10 Tribal Operations Committee. This committee created the Subsistence Protection Initiative which was designed to underlie every action it takes. This film was made by the Tribal Caucus to support that initiative and will be used to provide insight to EPA Region 10 Tribal Program employee trainings, policies and processes.
