In this video, I demonstrate a critical APRS messaging flaw on the BTECH UV-PRO handheld radio. While testing APRS receive functionality, I discovered that incoming APRS messages can be overwritten before the operator has a chance to read them. Using real APRS message traffic, I show how sending multiple APRS messages to the BTECH UV-PRO causes earlier messages to be replaced by newer ones, potentially resulting in lost APRS communications.
