Ice Fishing Bass and Pike! (Largemouth Catch and Cook!)

Ice fishing with my friend Shane on a small pond for bass, pike, and panfish. Flags were flying in the morning, however we only landed half of the fish. I caught 2 very nice largemouth and Shane caught a nice pike. At the end of the day the bluegill and sunfish started biting on jigs. Shane caught another nice pike on the jigging stick at the end. At the time, we thought that this could be our last time fishing on Seneca Territory so we decided to keep some fish. Bass are in season during the ice season on Seneca Land, so I kept my first ever ice-water largemouth and Shane kept his two pike. The SNI (Seneca Nation of Indians) have since passed a resolution to extend fishing license purchased in 2025 through March of 2026.
