HARS Aviation Museum, NSW, Australia - A must visit for aviation enthusiasts!

HARS (Historical Aviation Restoration Society) Museum in NSW is located 2 hrs from Sydney and is a must visit for all aviation enthusiasts. It houses a retired Qantas Boeing 747 donated to HARS on 8th March 2015, and it proudly carries the record of completing a direct London-Sydney flight, longest in the world, in August 1989 which lasted for 20 Hrs 9 mins. It also holds the record for shortest flight, from Sydney to Albion Park Airport (HARS) on 8th March 2015, lasting 12 mins. HARS also has a “Super Constellation” aircraft in Qantas livery, which was flown from US to Australia in 90s after restoration to flying capacity. This forms a major part of Australia’s commercial aviation history. A walk around some other exciting flying machines used during and post the 2nd World War will surely excite you.
