Joe Strummer 002: The Mescalero Years I’ve been waiting for this since the day it was announced. All three Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros studio albums spread across 5 LP’s and an additional 2LP set that features 15 demos, outtakes and covers. It also comes with a very nice booklet with write ups about each album, photos and some other cool items, three foldout prints of Joe’s handwritten chord tab for those songs, the handwritten lyrics for Come Down Moses and a small flat featuring Joe’s boom box. It’s really well put together, with a lot of love going into the entire set. I really love that @darkhorserecords is putting so much effort and care into the three Joe sets they’ve done so far.
