It's a small "episode" made of old episode maps reworked and turned around a bit in order to offer some content to play while waiting for the actually good stuff Vos is working on currently, a short story spanning 6 maps including a peaceful "town" map and 5 hostile maps all from our beloved Atlanta. It contains a lot of fighting, some reworked mechanics, quite a bit of dialogue, 2 different endings, a few boss fights and an alternate storyline of 2063 after Walker and the New National Guard were stopped by the Blackwater bandits at the Cordon, which then led the gang towards total victory in the City. You are an unspecified scavenger working with the survivors to access the fortress of Michonne Circle to kill the Blackwater Ruler, now dubbed the "King of Atlanta" and to find a way out of this cursed city. It focuses a lot on survival. You need to properly manage your resources in order to survive. Nothing emphasizes this more than the radiation system, which was not designed for this episode, but which it will steal use regardless. This new radiation system lets you stay in rad zones longer and does not damage you overtime, but instead reduces your max health by increments until it kills you at the very end of your radiation meter.
